About the Author

Administrator, public policy analyst, politician, businessman, and community leader, Alhaji Mohammed Bello Abioye was employed into the Kwara State Civil Service as an Administrative Officer in 1984. He rose through the ranks, rising from Administrative Officer II to Deputy Director of Administration and Finance and served in those capacities in the State Health Management Board, Ministries of Health, Education, Lands and Housing, General Services Department of Governor’s Office. Before his retirement from the service in 2016, he rose to the position of Director of Administration and Finance. In 2020, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary by President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR), President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria. Subsequently in 2021, he was assigned as Nigeria High Commissioner to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Maldives and Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. He is married with children. His hobbies include debating, traveling and socio-political networking.
