IPS represented in int’l conference in Kazakhstan.

Lead Coordinator IPS Irfan Shahzad participated in an international conference titled ‘Central Asian Region: Experience of Formation and Development of Civic Identity’ held in Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan on October 20-21, 2015. The conference was organized by Kogamdyk Kelisim [Republic State Institute] in collaboration with the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

Lead Coordinator IPS Irfan Shahzad participated in an international conference titled ‘Central Asian Region: Experience of Formation and Development of Civic Identity’ held in Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan on October 20-21, 2015. The conference was organized by Kogamdyk Kelisim [Republic State Institute] in collaboration with the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

Shahzad made two presentations on Manglik El – the concept of ‘Eternal Nation’ being pursued by Kazakhstan – one each during the first plenary session and a panel discussion held at Zhetysu State University, which was also organized as a part of the conference.

The visit for the conference also served the purpose of initiating networking with scholars not only from the host country but also from Russia, South Korea and Iran.
