Progress evaluation meeting with AEDB and GIZ officials
A progress evaluation meeting for the project ‘Assessment of solar PV based net-metered systems installed at IESCO and LESCO’ was held with the officials of Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) and GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit)-Pakistan on August 31, 2021.
GIZ Pakistan on the occasion was represented by Technical Advisor Asif Fareed and AEDB was represented by Muhammad Yaseen, deputy director-Solar Thermal, whereas on behalf of IPS the meeting was partaken by GM-IPS Naufil Shahrukh, Technical Lead & PV Expert Dr Hassan Abdullah Khalid, and research officers M Wali Farooqi and Hamza Naeem.
It was stressed in the meeting that the quality of PV systems needs to be streamlined according to the benchmarks whereas checks need to be put in place for improvement in quality.
