Prof. Khurshid Ahmad honored with the prestigious King Faisal Prize for service to Islam

Professor Khurshid Ahmad (late), founding chairman and patron-in-chief of the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), Islamabad, was awarded the King Faisal International Prize in Service to Islam in 1990, one of the most prestigious global honors in the Islamic world.

A visionary intellectual and leading figure in contemporary Islamic thought, Prof. Khurshid Ahmad was honored for his lifelong dedication to serving Islam through academic rigor, institutional development, and global advocacy.
