The 39th issue of IPS journal Nuqta-e-Nazar is now published. Being brought out diligently by senior IPS Associate Dr Safir Akhtar for more than last 20 years, the bi-annual journal provides in-depth reviews and commentaries on Urdu books, especially on the topics related to Islam and Pakistan. The latest edition of the book discusses the contributions of renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Shibli Nomani (3 June 1857 – 18 November 1914), who wrote the first two volumes of the Sirat-un-Nabi.
