“Carrying out research on wider contemporary issues is the need of the hour” | Chairman IPS
A delegation of participants from a training workshop being conducted at Markaz-e-Taleem-o-Tahqeeq (Center for Education and Research) visited IPS on March 11, 2022 as part of an exposure visit.
The delegates, which comprised research level students from different religious education institutions, were presented with an overview of the Institute’s mission, goals and ongoing activities by Senior Research Officer Syed Nadeem Farhat.
The presentation was followed by an address of Chairman IPS Khalid Rahman, who expressed his pleasure over the trend where religious education institutions were opening up to carry out research on wider contemporary issues.
Terming this need of the hour, Rahman said that it is the responsibility of students of religion to benefit the society from their endeavors, and conducting useful research work over prevalent issues is certainly another way of fulfilling that objective.
