A 10-day Personal and Institutional Development Workshop was launched for young professionals and entrepreneurs from 26 August, which will continue till 06 September 2013.

A 10-day Personal and Institutional Development Workshop was launched for young professionals and entrepreneurs from 26 August, which will continue till 06 September 2013.

The training is being held under the auspices of IPS LEAD – the Learning, Excellence and Development Program of Institute of Policy Studies, Islamabad. It has been designed to impart a set of soft skills such as interpersonal skills, communication skills, conflict resolution and negotiation, personal effectiveness, time management, creative problem solving, strategic thinking, team building and influencing skills, to name a few, that are necessary to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life and transform thoughts and values into positive action and are critical for personal and organizational excellence. The focus is on mental, emotional, and professional growth, leading to the growth of the institutions or enterprises, which the participants represent.

The Workshop sessions are being conducted by renowned trainers and motivational speakers such as Khalid Rahman, Sardar Khalid Mehmood, Yasir Masood Afaq, Abdul Samad, Kamran Kiyani, and Abid Khari on the themes of personal and organizational success.

The Workshop has been sponsored by World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY).
