Pak-India Relations: Modi’ Government’s Approach and Pakistan’s Response

It is well over a year and a quarter since Modi-led BJP assumed power in India. This period has witnessed an unrelenting policy of Modi government towards Pakistan. Unprovoked shelling across LoC, cancellation of NSA level talks, trying to rally regional countries against Pakistan and moves against Islamabad at international fora are all but a few examples.

It is in this background that IPS is organizing a roundtable discussion on “Pak-India Relations: Modi’ Government’s Approach and Pakistan’s Response” on September 15, at 3:00 pm at IPS.

Air Cdre. (R) Khalid Iqbal, Member IPS National Academic Council (NAC) will moderate the session; the opening statements would be delivered by Brig. (r) Said Nazir Mohmand, Senior IPS Associate, and Syed Mohammad Ali, Senior Analyst. the discussion would follow the statements by the said speakers.
