IPS Delegation Visits Institute of Central Asia , Xinjiang Academy of Social Sciences, Urumqi

 

A two-member delegation of Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) including Khalid Rahman, Director General and Irfan Shahzad, Lead Coordinator visited the Institute of Central Asia at the Xinjiang Academy of Social Sciences, Urumqi, China on 23 April 2012.

A two-member delegation of Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) including Khalid Rahman, Director General and Irfan Shahzad, Lead Coordinator visited the Institute of Central Asia at the Xinjiang Academy of Social Sciences, Urumqi, China on 23 April 2012. They were warmly welcomed by Dr Shi Lan and other senior faculty of the host Institute.

The DG IPS on the occasion gave a presentation on the topic of ‘Emerging Regional Situation and Pak-China Relations’ which was followed by a lively interactive session with the participants of the programme comprising faculty members and researchers of the Institute of Central Asia.
