DG-IPS participates in IoBM conference on ‘State of Pakistan’s Economy’

DG-IPS Khalid Rahman was invited to chair a session in a two-day conference ‘State of Pakistan’s Economy: Issues and Challenges in the 21st Century’ in Karachi, organized by Institute of Business Management (IoBM) on September 27-28, 2016.
The conference, which attempted to initiate a debate on the country’s economic fluctuations, deliberated upon several aspects pertaining to the country’s economy including, but not limited to: agriculture, industry, income distribution, physical infrastructure, natural resources, debt, public revenue and expenditure, privatization and liberalization, governance issues, etc.
The event was participated by renowned academicians, economists and policy analysts from all over Pakistan.
