 China of Today and Tomorrow: Dynamics of Relations with Pakistan, gives an elaborate expose of China’s immense and continuously rising politico-economic clout at global level, and also provides a very useful overview of the relations between Pakistan and China since early 1950s. The book also records the important developments and agreements between Pakistan and China over the years. The study is mainly based on the lecture by M. Akram Zaki, Former Secretary General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan, at the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), and has been jointly published by IPS and Pakistan Study Center (PSC), Sichuan University, Chengdu-China, in both languages; English and Chinese, simultaneously. Besides Mr. Zaki’s lecture, the study also has valuable contributions from Khalid Rahman, DG IPS, Prof. Chen Jidong, Executive Director PSC and Fasih Uddin, member IPS National Academic Council.
