IPS LEAD – the Learning, Excellence and Development Program of Institute of Policy Studies, Islamabad – is organizing a 10-day PERSONAL AND INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP (2:30-5:30pm daily) on Soft Skills for young professionals and entrepreneurs from 26 August to 06 September 2013.
IPS LEAD – the Learning, Excellence and Development Program of Institute of Policy Studies, Islamabad – is organizing a 10-day PERSONAL AND INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP (2:30-5:30pm daily) on Soft Skills for young professionals and entrepreneurs from 26 August to 06 September 2013.
Soft Skills are behavioral competencies; also known as interpersonal skills, or people skills. They include proficiencies such as communication skills, conflict resolution and negotiation, personal effectiveness, creative problem solving, strategic thinking, team building, influencing skills and selling skills, to name a few.
The Workshop has been designed to impart a set of soft skills that are necessary to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life and transform thoughts and values into positive action and eventually into personal and organizational excellence. The focus is on mental, emotional, and professional growth, leading to the growth of the institutions or enterprises, which the participants represent.
The Workshop sessions will be conducted by renowned trainers and motivational speakers on IPS LEAD panel such as Khalid Rahman, Sardar Khalid, Basharat Ahmad, Kamran Kiyani, and Abdul Samad and will also include panel discussions with top professionals on personal and organizational success.
It may be mentioned that it is a not-for-profit initiative; only a nominal fee of PKR2200/- will be charged per participant to cover the cost of reading material and overheads.
