A 10-day Personal and Institutional Development Workshop for young professionals, entrepreneurs and graduates held under IPS LEAD — the Learning, Excellence & Development Program of the Institute of Policy Studies — concluded on 06 September 2013.

 

A 10-day Personal and Institutional Development Workshop for young professionals, entrepreneurs and graduates held under IPS LEAD — the Learning, Excellence & Development Program of the Institute of Policy Studies — concluded on 06 September 2013.

The training was designed to impart a set of soft skills such as interpersonal skills, communication skills, conflict resolution and negotiation, personal effectiveness, time management, creative problem solving, strategic thinking, team building and influencing skills, to name a few, that are necessary to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life and transform thoughts and values into positive action and are critical for personal and organizational excellence. The focus was on mental, emotional, and professional growth, leading to the growth of the institutions or enterprises, which the participants represent.

More than a hundred graduates and professionals from various institutions attended the training workshop.

The sessions were conducted by renowned trainers and motivational speakers such as DG-IPS Khalid Rahman, Naseem Zafar Iqbal, Sardar Khalid Mehmood, Rafatullah Khan, Abdul Samad Khan, Yasir Masood Afaq, Abid Khari, Sabookh Syed and Atif Mukhtar.

The workshop was supported by World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) Pakistan office.
